Just a Little Update on My Babies

Well my sweet boy had his 2 month check up today & everything went really well. He weighed in at 13 lb 11 oz and is now 25.5 in long. He's gonna be a big boy! He got 3 MEAN shots in his little thighs which didn't make him a happy camper :(So far the majority of people say he looks like my dad (Pap Pap)! If they don't see dad in him they see Neal, but so far not a single person says he looks like me! Here's a pic of the little cutie pie...what do you think - Neal or Pap Pap?He is such a sweet boy and so far a pretty darn good baby. He is now sleeping anywhere from 7 to 9 hours through the night, which has been wonderful!!! He smiles all the time and loves showing off his 2 big 'ol dimples! Tomorrow he starts going to day care with his big sister. I am a firm believer in putting my kids in day care for the interaction and the skills they learn from it but I sure am gonna miss having him at home with me!

So now on to Ella Bella.....

She is still doing really well with having a baby in the house. She sill loves him to death and he's the first thing she asks about when she wakes up. I LOVE being a mom and thank God everyday for giving me such a loving and healthy family!
Ella will be moving up into the pre-school program at day care at the end of this month. Her teachers say that since she is doing so well with her potty training, speaking and her coloring that she's totally ready for it. I am so so proud of her but it made me a little sad to see the "pre-school class supply list" I can't believe she will be 3 in October! :(

So it's little late but better late than never right? Let me introduce you to our newest addition:

Dalton Christopher

We were blessed with him on May 20th around 4:15 in the afternoon. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. & 20 1/4 inches and looked exactly like his big sister!
We are all so proud and greatfull for this sweet baby boy and he is being spoiled more and more by the minute. Ella loves being the big sister - she always says "Mommy, I love him sooo much!" So far we haven't seen any jealousy from her, she pretty much comes in, gives him kisses then goes on about her business. She did back track a little bit with her potty training for about 2 or 3 weeks, but were totally back to where we were...big girl panties all day with just 1 or 2 accidents a week. I couldn't be more proud of her and couldn't ask for a more beautiful, wonderful, healthy family - I am truly blessed!!!So onto the pictures! I'm Baaaack!

Let me just start out by saying it's not my fault I haven't updated this blog since October - it's Facebook's fault! Ok...so maybe I just don't have tons of time to be sitting around creating blog posts, I'm sorry! So here is a really quick update with lot's of pictures to fill you in from the last 6 months.
First and foremost, I guess I kind of left you hanging by telling you that we were expecting another baby. Well,we still are and it's a BOY! Like you all don't know that by now! He is due May 31st and he still doesn't have a name. We know his middle name will be Christopher after Neal's middle name, but were stumped on the first name. Dalton, Drew, or Connor - were taking votes so please feel free to give us your opinion.
And now for all of you who don't get to see me in real life and have been asking, here's my big belly:

It's definitely bigger than I ever got with Ella :( But oh well, Ella say's "momma's big baby belly is pretty."

Speaking of my sweet girl, I'll share a few recent pictures of her. She has grown up so fast, we can't believe it. She's almost totally potty trained, having full conversations with us, and thinks she's ready to be a big sister.

We love to go camping and Ella especially loves it! She's constantly asking us if were going camping! She loves to go shopping and getting new clothes - she's a total diva! See....

And for other news - I guess we have just been really busy blowing and going. It seems like we have something going on EVERY weekend. But somewhere during the last time we talked we have found time to build this

and....Ella got a new baby cousin. Let me introduce our first and precious niece Adysen Dawn Janacek. She was born in February and has been great practice for Ella. She is actually doing really well with helping change diapers and feed bottles. We still have to give her a little time before Neal or I jump up and hold Ady, but after a bit Ella is usually fine.

I'm sure I'm leaving something out, but it sounds like that sweet girl of mine is pouring cat food all over my utility room floor....crap!

Oh yeah, I have also been busy taking lots of pictures for people lately too...go check them out HERE!

Exciting News!!!

We have had a lot going on in these last few weeks, and I haven't gotten to do any blogging so I thought I would just give you a really quick update! First of all, our baby girl is turning 2 tomorrow! I absolutely can not believe it! She is sooo much fun right now, and is amazing us everyday with the things she says and all the things she knows! She got her birthday present a day early from Mommy & Daddy & is loving it already! I'm sure she will get everything she needs to fill it up and get to cooking Sunday at her birthday party!Now onto the next bit of news.... did you notice anything new on the top right hand side of my blog???
Well - go look!

Yep! That's right, the Janacek's will soon be a little family of 4! We are so extremely excited about our coming attraction & are so anxious about everything that is coming our way - morning sickness and all!
I'm only 8 weeks (almost) but have definitely started with the morning, noon & night sickness!
I'm sure the next 7 months will fly by even faster than they did when I was pregnant with Ella, but I'm ready...bring it on!

Under Construction!

If you were to drive up to my house tomorrow, you would say"What the heck is goin' on?"

Well let me just fill you in! Neal has this idea that he needs a shop, and I guess he has convinced me he needs it also. So while he was busy dreaming this thing up, we also decided to add another room onto the house - what the heck right, why not?

So here we are, the slab is ready to be poured. There are men here working everyday and Neal stays out till dark after he gets home from work...and I just watch from afar with no questions asked. After all, I know he must have this all figured out so I stay out of it. From the little I have asked, I was under the impression that the shop would be twice the size of my house - not that I like this fact, but I guess its understandable.

So the farther along we get, I start having guys all over town asking me questions like, how many bays will it have and how many square feet, etc. Stuff I don't know...and stuff I wish I never would have found out about! APPARENTLY..........It's not twice the size of my house - try three times! Now that I have a slight problem with! But luckily for Neal, the slab had already been poured, all the metal bought and etc, etc, etc! Gosh he gets everything, do you remember this?

Ok, so I'm not really that upset about it! I'm actually really proud of him & happy that he will finally get a smaller version of his dream shop- he absolutely deserves it! And I'm totally amazed at how smart he is to know how to design and build a huge building from the ground up all on his own! And I also must say that I don't have it so bad myself - I love my life and my sweet husband pretty much lets me have whatever I want! Thanks Babe!

So on to the cuter stuff!

With all the construction, dirt and machinery around these days, Ella has been very entertained and is having a ball!

She has probably digested 5 pounds of dirt in the last month, and our septic system probably has about 50 extra pounds from all the dirt I have rinsed off of her in the bath tub. But who cares right? Not Me!
These are memories of a lifetime!

VACATION!!!

Ahhh...vacation! Cold, clear water. Cold beer. Happy kids. Family. Friends. Grilling. Don't you just LOVE being on vacation? It's like you get to completely step out of your "real" life for a while.
Last weekend we went to Leakey, TX with my parents along with some of their friends and stayed in a beautiful cabin right on the Frio River. Neal and I had never met most of the people there, so it was a lot of fun to get to know everyone. Ella had a blast and also made new friends. There were 5 other kiddos there that kept her occupied and wore her out - and boy did they.

But there was a deep swimming hole just a few feet down where we were sitting where we did a lot of this

Yep...that's me jumping off the cliff! From the ground it doesn't look so bad, but once you climb all the way to the top and look over OMG! I stood there for about 30 minutes trying to make myself jump. I finally got the nerve and just went for it, then did it again and again...and you get the idea. There was also a rope swing that got a lot of use this weekend.

The guys all acted like teenagers again, drinking more than their weight in alcohol and doing a little of this

We ate alot, drank a lot, visited a lot, and relaxed a lot...it was wonderful!
Now back to reality!
